O'Neal and son charged in connection with drugs

Actor Ryan O’Neal and his son Redmond have been charged with possession of methamphetamine in Malibu, California.

Redmond, 23, also faces charges for possession of drug paraphernalia and a pepper spray.

He and his 67-year-old father are scheduled to appear in court on November 13.

The father and son were arrested last month after deputies searched their Malibu home. The sweep was part of Redmond’s probation; police said drugs were found on Redmond and in Ryan O’Neal’s living area.
