One Direction have released a statement on last night's cancelled concert

According to a statement from Belfast’s SSE Arena, One Direction have rescheduled last night’s postponed concert for this Friday, October 23.

“Having assessed all possible options, we can confirm that the cancelled One Direction concert from last night will go ahead this coming Friday night at The SSE Arena, Belfast,” Neil Walker, General Manager of The SSE Arena, Belfast has said.

Tickets for last night’s performance will be valid on Friday.

For those not able to attend the rescheduled show on Friday, it has been advised for them to contact their point of purchase for details of how to obtain a refund.

“Once again we apologise for the cancellation of last night’s One Direction show. We thank everyone for their understanding and their good wishes to Liam,” Aiken productions continued on their website.

"Tonight and tomorrow night’s planned concerts in SSE Arena, Belfast will also be going ahead as planned".
