Olly: Performing to massive crowds like a 'drug'

Olly Murs is addicted to touring.

The 'Troublemaker' singer departed his role as presenter on spin-off TV show 'The Xtra Factor' to focus on his music and describes the experience of performing to massive crowds as a "drug" to him.

He told the Daily Star newspaper: "Presenting was always a part-time thing for me. When I've got the chance to promote my music around the world you can't turn that down.

"It's like a drug being on tour - it's a buzz you can't recreate anywhere else."

Olly, 29, is gearing up to perform alongside Robbie Williams on a 17-date European stadium tour and has hinted at what fans can expect from himself and the former Take That member, who is setting out to show the world he is "still the real deal".

Olly added: "I saw Robbie on Tuesday and he didn't give much away but just said it's going to be big, massive and huge.

"He wants to show people he's still the real deal. If the Take That and Knebworth shows are anything to go by, it's going to be special."

The cheeky chappy has even hinted at the possibility of a collaboration between and thinks they could create something similar to Robbie and rapper Dizzee Rascal's catchy song 'Goin' Crazy'.

He teased: "We were talking about writing a song together after I said I thought his BRITs track was great.

"We might do something for a laugh just to put online. I think what he's done with Dizzee Rascal is brilliant - he's getting bling."
