Oasis hire Robbie Williams' drummer

British rockers Oasis have recruited drummer Chris Sharrock to the band - after poaching him from rival Robbie Williams.

The 'Some Might Say' group allegedly sacked drummer Zac Starkey, son of former Beatle Ringo Starr earlier this week, but have now hired Sharrock as his replacement.

The move could reignite a long-running war of words between Williams and Oasis.

A source tells British newspaper the Mirror: "Oasis and Robbie have an ongoing feud. This move is sure to infuriate Robbie.

"Everyone thinks Chris has had enough of sitting on the picket line and not playing music. Oasis aren't striking against anyone so at least he'll be getting a bit of action now."
