Three new housemates were settling into the 'Big Brother' house today after they landed in the garden in a space ship.
Travel agent Keeley, air stewardess Rachel and student Andrew arrived last night after trainee joiner Nathan, 25, from Bingley, West Yorkshire, became the fourth person to be evicted.
Andrew, a maths prodigy who took A-levels at just 13 years old and is now studying the subject at Oxford, soon put his counting skills to good use.
The 19-year-old from Wimborne, Dorset, took part in the latest You Vs the Housemates task which saw him try to balance as many spoons as possible on his face for 10 seconds.
Andrew managed four but viewer Luke went one better and won an engraved gold souvenir spoon.
Meanwhile Keeley, 30, from Manchester, is rubbing some of the other housemates up the wrong way already.
She told Ben his hair needed cutting soon after entering the house and today he told Caoimhe: “She obviously has a really high opinion of her attractiveness.”
Keeley fared better with Dave who told Ben she was a lovely girl after they had a chat about religion.
Rachel, 29, from Liverpool, bonded with her new housemates during some sunbathing in the garden.
John James, who was also up for eviction last night but escaped the chop when he polled just 11% of the votes, won a two-way Skype call with friends and family in Australia today.
The housemate from Melbourne had to tell false facts about his home country to each of the housemates but was not told what his prize would be if he was successful.
His fibs included saying he used to be in the soap Home and Away, claiming his mum owned a house on Neighbours’ Ramsay Street and lying that he once sang at Sydney Opera House.
John was delighted with his surprise prize and was emotional when his mother came on the line and told him how quiet the house was without him.
He kept repeating “wow, that was intense” as he left the Aussie-themed secret room.
