Neighbours star Holly Valance five months pregnant

Holly Valance is five months pregnant.

The former 'Neighbours' star and her billionaire husband Nick Candy, 40, who married in Los Angeles last September, were desperate to keep the news that they are expecting their first child a secret, but failed to secure an injunction after new pictures of her sporting a baby bump appeared in an Australian magazine.

Woman's Day published photographs of the 30-year-old former singer in a bikini on holiday in Italy recently, which clearly show she is pregnant, before she was able to obtain a privacy protection order, according to the MailOnline website.

Shortly after the images appeared in the Australian publication, Justice Michael Pembroke ruled it was impossible for them to move forward with the injunction.

He said: "If the objective of the plaintiff is to protect her own opportunity to reveal the fact of her pregnancy at a time of her choosing, then that opportunity has been lost by the events which have occurred.

"There is no point in restraining the defendant from further distributing copies that remain as part of the print run for this issue."

Earlier this year, Holly revealed she couldn't wait to be a mother.

She said: "We will have a family, God willing, and when it happens I just want to be a mum. The biggest luxury on the planet to me would be to be at home with my child."
