N-Dubz star 'out of X Factor frame'

Tulisa Contostavlos has reportedly been removed from the 'X Factor' shortlist.

The N-Dubz star had been one of the names in the frame to replace Cheryl Cole – who is moving to the new US version of the show – on the judging panel but bosses are said to have had a change of heart after being stunned by her foul- mouthed outbursts during a secret audition.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Tulisa did do a one-hour audition but was turned down because she couldn’t stop swearing.

"It was all the time and bosses became worried about putting her on live TV in front of millions of viewers, including children.

"If she ended up cursing or making a rude comment live on the show, the programme would get into serious trouble."

As well as Tulisa, it was recently claimed that 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge Alesha Dixon is in the running to land a position on 'X Factor', which is also going to be missing Simon Cowell as he will be working in the US.

A source said: "Cheryl leaves a massive void on the panel and there's a serious hunt going on right now.

"They're worried that without Simon Cowell on the panel, they need to find someone with a strong voice and personality who can blossom into a star.

"The obvious advantage of Alesha is that she's young, sexy and confident and already has experience on a judging panel."
