Michael Lohan: Ex-wife's comments are 'delusional'

Lindsay Lohan's father thinks his ex-wife is "delusional" for trying to connect him to their daughter's alleged assault victim.

The 26-year-old star's father Michael has hit back at her mother Dina for linking him to Tiffany Mitchell's new civil rights lawyer Gloria Allred simply because they live in close proximity to each other in Florida.

Dina told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "I am increasingly disturbed to be told Ms. Allred's new client lives in Palm Beach just minutes from my ex-husband's home."

But Michael dismissed her attempts to connect him to Tiffany, who claims Lindsay hit her and spat in her face in a New York nightclub on Thursday.

He said: "Dina's comments are delusional and just go to show the lengths she'll go to divide me from my children and pollute their minds. The public can see right through her.

"It's a really sad situation when a mother doesn't join hands with a father to help their daughter instead of making up stories about him."

Michael previously admitted he fears for the 'Liz & Dick' star's life as he is terrified that she is "drowning her sorrows" on "alcohol, cocaine and prescription drugs" because she may be going back to jail after allegedly assaulting Tiffany and also being charged with lying to police about a car accident.
