Love/Hate star to publish book

Susan Loughnane - or more commonly known to us as ‘Debbie’ - has been putting the final touches to her comedy novel which is set to release in August.

The actress has signed a big-money publishing deal with Poolbeg for the book, which she says has been in her head for six years.

The Love/Hate star told the Herald she can’t wait to launch the book but as she is currently doing edits she is extremely busy.

So busy in fact that she missed out on the Galway Film Fleadh this year, where her movie Poison Pen had its premiere, although according to her Twitter she was holidaying in Italy at the time - which we think she deserves.

We’re looking forward to her new venture, but here’s a reminder of her outstanding portrayal of heroin addict Debbie in RTE’s Love/Hate.
