Love Island fans want Mike to get revenge

Love Islander Mike Thalassitis has made his return to the villa and viewers cannot wait to see him exact his revenge on Olivia Attwood.

The pair had been growing close before Thalassitis left the programme, but he was annoyed to find that Chris Hughes was a rival for Attwood’s affections.

However, shortly before the contestant’s return, Attwood and Hughes split – leaving the way open for the spurned single to give his ex a taste of her own medicine.

Vowing to play Attwood at her own game and make her think he was interested in rekindling a romance, fans of the ITV2 programme shared that they could not wait to see what happened.

Later in the episode, the boys took part in a striptease challenge where the winner was the one who got the girls’ hearts racing the most.

It threw up some controversial results when happily coupled up Gabby Allen chose Theo Campbell as her winner rather than boyfriend Marcel Somerville.

Somerville couldn’t resist a mention of his previous life in Blazin’ Squad to save face, claiming that they were practically male strippers – although viewers didn’t agree.

Viewers were left in hysterics over an unusual move in Somerville’s performance that saw him hit Camilla Thurlow in the forehead.

:: Love Island continues on ITV2 on Friday at 9pm.
