Lohan 'dating indie band guitarist'

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly dating City of the Sun musician Avi Snow.

The 26-year-old actress has recently started seeing the guitarist and friends hope he will be a good influence on the troubled starlet, who was recently sentenced to 90 days in rehab.

A friend of Avi's told MailOnline: “Avi's not a feckless party animal, he works in that industry, sure, but he's got a good head on his shoulders.

“He's from a solid background and doesn't get involved with the drugs scene, he doesn't even drink much... basically, he knows who is and likes control, he could help Lindsay.”

Lohan will undergo her sixth attempt at getting sober when she begins her court ordered stint in rehab and her treatment will focus on her "large" alcohol consumption and reliance on legal medications but the actress reportedly doesn't think she has a problem.

A source recently said: "The main problem when it comes to Lindsay ever getting sober is her absolute denial that she has any substance abuse issues.

"Once again, she is only going to rehab purely because it's a slightly more attractive alternative than going to jail.

"Of course, there is hope that once Lindsay is undergoing treatment she will recognise that she does in fact have a problem - but given her history, it's very doubtful."
