LISTEN: Síle Seoige and Friends charity single

Last week TV star Síle Seoige rounded up an array of her celebrity friends to follow in Bob Geldof’s footsteps and record a Christmas charity single.

The single ‘Maybe This Christmas’ is in aid of Make-A-Wish Ireland which Síle is an ambassador of and Childline.

And here’s your first listen: Maybe This Christmas

“The monies raised from the sale of this single will make a significant difference to this wonderful charity and enable us to create some extraordinary moments for some truly brave children,” said Chief Executive of Make-A-Wish Ireland, Susan O’Dwyer.

Irish celebs such as Mary Black, Brian Kennedy, Kathryn Thomas, Olympian Rob Heffernan, retired rugby player Shane Byrne, 2FM presenter Paddy McKenna and RTE weather woman Audrey McGrath are all among those whose who took part.

This single is available to pre-order from iTunes from November 28th and will be released as a CD single Friday December 5th.
