Liam Payne sends moving message to Louis Tomlinson after death of his mum

Liam Payne sent a moving message to Louis Tomlinson on Friday after his mum died aged 43.

Liam posted the statement to his One Direction bandmate on Twitter, saying his “thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this incredibly sad time”.

Johannah Deakin died on Wednesday morning after suffering from leukaemia.

He added: “Louis, I’m so sorry for you my brother.

“Just know I love you the same from a million miles away as i do right next to you.

“I’m always here for you through everything as you have been for me.

“I can’t begin to imagine what you are all going through.

“RIP Johannah you are forever in my thoughts.”

Zayn Malik also messaged his former bandmate.

Around five weeks before her death in her final Instagram post, Johannah uploaded a photo of Tomlinson with the caption “my perfect boy”.
