LaBeouf cleared of drink driving

Shia LaBeouf is celebrating after learning he won't be charged with drink driving following a July car accident in Hollywood that left him with a shattered hand.

Authorities arriving at the scene suspected the actor had been drinking, but the Los Angeles District Attorney has declared there isn't enough evidence to bring a case against the actor.

LaBeouf, who was arrested before undergoing hand surgery after the collision, has already avoided blame in the near-fatal accident.

LaBeouf's 'Transformers' director Michael Bay has never doubted his young star's sobriety on the night of the crash.

At the time of the accident, Bay said: "He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before... That's (drink driving rumour) gonna go away."
