Kodaline sticksman pops the question in NY

Kodaline drummer Vinny May took to Twitter today to announce his engagement to long-term girlfriend Carina Elliott.

The star got down on one knee during their recent holiday to New York and seem somewhat relieved that she said yes.

“Well she said yes! Thank f**k! #engagement”

Oooohhhh Sparkly!

Floods of well wishes from the band and fans have been filtering through Twitterland since the announcement, and the couple have Tweeted their thanks from Time Square.

They even took time to pose for photographs with Mickey.

Congrats to the happy couple

Kodaline are set to headline the New Year’s Countdown Concert in College Green, Dublin with James Vincent McMorrow and Walking On Cars.

EXCITED.
