Hollywood beauties Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansson have bared all in a daring new photo shoot.
The starlets posed in the nude for the cover of Vanity Fair’s annual Hollywood issue, together with open-shirted designer Tom Ford.
They were carefully arranged by photographer Annie Leibovitz to ensure some things are still left to the imagination.
Oscar-nominated Brit Knightley, 20, sits sideways, showing off her pierced belly button, while 21-year-old Match Point star Johansson, is more exposed - readers who open the fold-out cover will see her bare buttocks.
Ford, the issue’s guest art director, wears a crisp white shirt and black suit as he nuzzles Knightley’s neck.
The young actresses – who had never met before – giggled nervously as they got ready for the racy shoot in their fluffy white robes, and Knightley got a supportive hug from her mother.
After she and Johansson kissed each other goodbye, Knightley laughed: “Lovely to meet you. I’ll see you again some time … naked I’m sure.”
Johansson quipped back: “Very nice meeting you… in the most intimate way.”
Ford said he hadn’t planned on joining in, but did so when Wedding Crashers star Rachel McAdams, 29, backed out.
“She did want to do it, and then when she was on the set I think she felt uncomfortable, and I didn’t want to make anybody feel uncomfortable” Ford told ABC’s Good Morning America.
The magazine also features Angelina Jolie posing in a bathtub and a fully clothed George Clooney as a director filming a large cast of women wearing skin-tone underwear.
Knightley is up for a best actress Oscar for Pride and Prejudice.
