Jlaw 'gorged on candy and hot dogs' during Hunger Games filming

Jennifer Lawrence ate "ungodly amounts" while filming 'The Hunger Games'.

The 23-year-old actress - who plays the female lead, Katniss Everdeen, in the adaptation of Suzanne Collin's novels of the same name - gorged on unhealthy delights including candy and hot dogs while she worked on the sci-fi film.

She told InStyle magazine: "During 'Hunger Games', when I was eating ungodly amounts, I used to tell myself, 'Stop eating, people are going to see this. This movie is going to be around forever.' But nope! I was like, I still want candy and I still want a hot dog!"

Although the award-winning star famously bares all in 'X Men: Days of Future Past', where she plays blue skin super-villain Mystique, she still couldn't find the motivation to workout.

She explained: "Then X-Men started, and I thought, 'Oh definitely, I'll work out and diet.' But nope. Not me!"

The blue body paint she wore while shooting scenes had a interesting effect on her body, she added: "It's like wearing rubber paint. Very dehydrating. I drank bottle after bottle of water and I only peed twice a day."
