Jim Carrey dresses up as Adele's roadie in response to her The Mask costume for Halloween

Jim Carrey has dressed up as one of Adele’s roadies after she transformed into his character from The Mask for Halloween.

The Hollywood star posted his own unrecognisable photo on Twitter, complete with fake teeth, sunglasses and a hat, after Adele shared images of her outfit on Instagram.

The British singer, 28, donned a suit and latex mask while in Texas, Dallas to mimic Jim’s character from the 1994 movie.

In a Twitter post, Jim wrote: “Hi @Adele. It’s Jim from the other side. Weird coincidence, I dressed up as one of your roadies for Halloween. I absolutely love you.”

Jim, 54, is currently battling wrongful death lawsuits over the suicide of his ex-partner Cathriona White.

The Bruce Almighty star is being sued by Cathriona’s mother Brigid Sweetman and estranged husband Mark Burton over claims he illegally provided prescription drugs involved in her death. He has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

Adele, who is currently on tour, recently revealed she suffered post-natal depression after giving birth to her son and felt like she had made “the worst decision of my life”.
