Jessie Buckley sells out Wild Rose Dublin gig in minutes

Irish singer and actress Jessie Buckley has sold out her show at Whelans, Dublin on June 29 within minutes this morning.

The Bafta rising star will be performing songs from her latest film, Wild Rose, which has been shown at the Toronto International Film Festival and BFI London Film Festival.

Six of the film's songs were co-written by BAFTA winning writer Nicole Taylor and Jessie herself.

Jessie stars in HBO's Chernobyl next month alongside Emma Watson.

Later in the year, the Kerry native will share the screen with Renee Zellweger and Robert Downey Jr in the Judy Garland biopic 'Judy'.
