Jamie Dornan's 50 Shades reveal: "It's just another job"

The Fall actor Jamie Dornan has insisted his star-making turn in 50 Shades Of Grey was “just another job”.

The 34-year-old from Northern Ireland found international fame as mogul Christian Grey in the big-screen adaptation of the raunchy novel and will star in the two sequels.

However, he said the blockbuster – in which he plays opposite Dakota Johnson – is just another line on his CV.

He told ITV’s This Morning: “You have to see it as just one job. It’s one that the majority of people know you solely for that, especially in the States or whatever, but it is to me, and any actor involved in a franchise would say the same thing, another job and then you move on to the next thing and play another character.”

Jamie, who has two young children, is also set to return to the small screen as the serial killer Paul Spector in the third series of BBC drama The Fall and is starring as a Czech resistance fighter in Second World War film Anthropoid, but said he enjoys having a full workload.

He said: “I love it, I want to be busy but I’m a young father so I want them to come everywhere with me, which we can do before they start school.”

Anthropoid is released in UK cinemas on September 9, while The Fall returns at the end of September.

50 Shades Darker will be released on February 10 2017.
