Janet Jackson has postponed two upcoming shows due to a mystery illness.
The pop superstar checked into the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, Canada on Monday night, shortly before she was due to perform in the city.
Reports suggest the 'Nasty' singer "got suddenly ill" during a soundcheck and needed medical attention.
She checked out of hospital just hours after she arrived, but she has decided to follow doctors orders and rest up following her emergency.
As a result, Jackson has postponed two concerts in Boston, Massachusetts and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania today and tomorrow.
She plans to resume her Rock Witchu tour on Saturday in North Carolina.
The cause and nature of the illness have not been disclosed.
