Irish-made ‘Situations Vacant’ a disappointment

Irish-made ‘Situations Vacant’ a disappointment

-Director: Lisa Mulcahy

Cast: Dairmuid Noyes, Sam Corry, Lynette Callaghan

Cert: 15

Dreamer Dave (Noyes) is looking for a job, as are some of his friends.

This homemade film is so disappointingly under-developed that the cast – cast adrift – have been given little chance to shine.

It’s a comedy but it lacks wit, it’s so lacking in narrative drive that it’s hard to stay with what little is happening.

Star Rating: 2/5
