Idris Elba will DJ at Forbidden Fruit in Dublin in June

Actor, musician, producer and DJ, Idris Elba will be taking to the Forbidden Fruits stage in Dublin over the June Bank Holiday weekend.

Elba started DJing at the age of 14 and the 45-year-old will take to the decks at the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham on Saturday, June 3.

"We’re super excited to have him reprise his role on the decks with his house-party project," festival organisers said.

Also announced today was German DJ and techno producer Stephan Bodzin who will make his Irish festival debut.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now. Day tickets cost €64.50, a two-day ticket is €119.00 while a three-day pass is €162.50.
