Holly Willoughby has found 'the perfect hangover cure', and we're not too sure about it

Yesterday was a tough day for presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, as they took the walk of ‘fair play to ya’ straight from the UK's National Television Award celebrations to work at the ITV This Morning studios.

The hilarious duo didn’t even get time to change from their night-before finery and opened the show looking a little bit worse for wear.

And it didn’t end there, the stars - who scooped up the prize for Best Live Magazine Show at the awards - struggled through their hangovers throughout the show, especially during the cooking segment.

After they slipped into something more comortable of course.

“This is the first time we’ve ever sat down in cooking. Neither of us can stand up," Philip announced before Holly had an unpleasant incident with a pickled egg.

The duo finally made their way home to recuperate after the 2-hour show, and we are a little bit unsure about their choice of ‘cures’ - which they shared on social media.

Phillip Schofield decided on Alka-Seltzer, Red Bull, an open fire and a glass of water - which we can relate to.

On the other hand, Holly chose “cheese on toast with Lea & Perrins and a glass of chocolate milk”.

Just no, Holly.

She clearly hasn't heard of a spice bag.
