Dermot Bannon made a return to our TV screens with his new show and fans loved every minute of it.

Incredible Homes sees the Irish architect jet across the globe to inspect some of the craziest and impressive houses the world has to offer.

First up was the ‘Cabbage House’, embedded in the hillside of the suburbs of Bayview in Sydney’s Northern Beaches and home to Jan and Graeme Page.

The cave-like house impressed with its outdoor bath and breathtaking views of the 20,000 square metres of rain forest adjoining their back garden, half of which the owners haven’t got to see yet.

A family of koala bears, a 3-metre python, lizards and wallabies even live in their Tree House.

"The gardeners come three times a week", Graeme says.

It’s like living in a national park

Another house featured was the home of the Judith Neilson, one of Australia’s wealthiest people.

Here, Bannon walked up the staircase built to fit a horse and sat on a dining table which seats 60.

You can imagine his excitement.

And the crowd went wild, especially after he took to the waves to catch some surfing.
