Harry Potter's house at 4 Privet Drive is up for sale - complete with cupboard

A home in Picket Post Close, Martins Heron which is better known as the fictional 4 Privet Drive in Harry Potter is up for sale in Bracknell, near Reading.

Harry Potter fans can rejoice as the home of Harry’s Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia and cousin Dudley Dursley in the famous films has been put on the market, complete with Harry Potter’s cupboard.

The property is being advertised by Chancellors estate agents and is up for sale for nearly half a million pounds – £475,000 to be exact.

About the three-bedroom detached home, the website states: “Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac location, this detached property has recently undergone complete renovation to an extremely high standard.”

Back in 2001, the house was picked out of hundreds around the UK to be the Dursleys’ home in the very first film, Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone. Harry was forced to live in the cupboard under the stairs by his aunt and uncle since he was 15 months old before heading to Hogwarts.

What do you reckon? Fancy it?
