Gibson tipped for 'Hangover' cameo

Mel Gibson will have a cameo in 'The Hangover 2'.

The troubled actor - who is currently engaged in a custody battle with Oksana Grigorieva, mother of his 11-month-old daughter Lucia - will shoot the role of a Bangkok tattoo artist for the comedy movie directed by Todd Phillips.

A source told the New York Post: "It's a done deal. Mel will make a cameo as a tattoo artist. Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros. lot, where a Bangkok set has been build, and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks.

"Then the production movies to Thailand at the end of October."

Mel was dropped by the William Morris Endeavour agency in July following allegations of assault made my Oksana earlier this year and his next film, 'The Beaver' with Jodie Foster, currently has no release date.

'The Hangover 2' will see Zach Galifianakis and Bradley Cooper resurrect their characters Alan Garner and Phil Wenneck, but Heather Graham will not be returning to the film as Las Vegas stripper Jade.

A Warner Bros. representative said: "Unfortunately Heather won't be in the sequel - the way the story unfolds doesn't allow any room for her character to show up. I don't want to reveal too much of the film, but once you see it you'll understand."
