George the Poet shortlisted for Critics Choice Award

A poet with a huge online following has been shortlisted for a prestigious music industry award.

23-year-old George Mpanga from north west London - or George the Poet - shot to fame after posting videos on YouTube, attracting more than half a million hits.

He is one of three acts to be shortlisted for the Critics Choice Award at next year's Brits.

Previous winners include Adele, Sam Smith and Jessie J.
