Gaga: 'Sparks flew' when Taylor snogged me

Lady Gaga has recalled the moment she fell for Taylor Kinney.

The 27-year-old, who first met her boyfriend of a year on the set of her 'You & I' video in 2012, said sparks flew when he spontaneously kissed her.

Speaking on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', airing on Monday, the star said: "And we were in the middle of this scene and I remember that he kissed me and it wasn't scripted for him to kiss me and I was sort of like was um, you know, was that real or was that fake?

"And he didn't really say anything and that was fine by me and we kept filming."

After the pair stopped shooting the video they kept in touch and started dating.

Gaga added: "And you know, at the end of the day he's my best friend and having your lover be your best friend. I mean, it's the best thing ever. It's the best thing I can say about it."

The 'Applause' hitmaker recently described the 32-year-old as her perfect man but said it was difficult for her to find the right guy.

She said: "It's been hard for me to find love, but I have found love.

"When you meet someone that's not intimidated by the amazing people that are around you, by the love that you receive, when they're happy for you, men weren't always happy for me."
