British actress Anna Friel has been forced to postpone plans to extend her family with partner David Thewlis - as she can't get pregnant while starring in US TV show 'Pushing Daisies'.
The 31-year-old star has a two-year-old daughter, Gracie, with Thewlis and admits she would love to have more children.
But insists she will have to wait until she's finished working on the current hit TV programme - in which she plays a woman who comes back from the dead, but is unable to touch her boyfriend - because it would be too difficult for the writers to explain a baby bump.
She tells British magazine InStyle: "I would like another two, probably, but not yet. I can't right now.
"I'm not sure how they would explain my character on Daisies getting preggers
(pregnant) when her leading man can't actually touch her. What am I? The Virgin Mary?"
