Four tackle task to avoid 'Big Brother' eviction

Army veteran Steve is among four 'Big Brother' housemates taking part in the 'Save and Replace' task today in a bid to avoid facing the public vote this week.

Amputee Steve was nominated for eviction this week along with Ben and Australian John James, who tried to run away from the house yesterday after a row with close friend Josie.

Welsh minister Dave was automatically put up for nomination after breaking the rules on Sunday night by discussing nominations.

Ben received four nominations, while Steve and John James received three each.

John James returned to the house after running away yesterday and told Bristol girl Josie he loved her.

In a frank and tearful discussion, the David Beckham lookalike told his fellow housemate he felt good whenever he was with her and wanted to be with her wherever she was in the house, but that he was worried that the environment of the 'Big Brother' house was confusing both their feelings.

But as Josie and Corin got up early this morning and chatted over a cigarette in the garden, Josie revealed that she and John James had shared a kiss under the duvet last night following their chat and confessions of love.

Josie revealed: "When I gave him a long lingering kiss, my breath smelt like a Portaloo."

She went on: "He constantly tells me that he loves me anyway. It's nice to be loved. It feels bloody great!"

But then discussing John James's worries about starting a relationship in the 'Big Brother' house, she said: "How can it be the same outside? I'm a Bristolian and he's an Australian. It is what it is and it ain't what it ain't. I'm going to have to speak to him on Skype. It's going to cost me a bomb."

She also revealed that she had promised John James she would not talk about what had happened between them, adding: "But I can't help myself!"

Corin told her: "I'm jealous. You must be buzzing."
