Flanagan keen for Corrie return

Helen Flanagan wants to return to 'Coronation Street'.

The 22-year-old actress - who quit the ITV soap in February 2012 after 12 years on the show - is keen to reprise her role of Rosie Webster, and she would love the bubbly beauty to return with a baby or to get back together with hunky builder Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas).

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "You can never say never. Who knows what will happen in the future?

"I love 'Coronation Street'. I was on the show for 12 years and was fortunate enough not to killed off the show so there's always a chance of going back.

"I would like Rosie to come back with a bang. She's been away in London doing modelling so she probably thinks she's a bit above everyone. But I'd like to see her back with Jason, or it would be great if she came back with a baby. I'd love that."

Helen - who finished seventh in last year's 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' series - also voiced her support for the rumoured return of Kevin Kennedy (Curly Watts) should he reprise his role in the soap.

Speaking at new! magazine's 10th birthday party at London's Gilgamesh last night, she added: "It would be great if Curly Watts came back!"

Helen has previously revealed she quit the 'Coronation Street' because she was suffering from depression and "felt trapped" on the programme.

She said: "I've suffered from depression. It was the main reason I had to leave 'Coronation Street'. I was down and it was very intense - I don't think I was very well.

"I wasn't happy there anymore. I wanted to find my own identity and I didn't feel free - I couldn't be myself or do what I wanted to do.

"I like to think I'm strong, but I really struggled. My head was in such a state that I wanted to run away, without thinking where I'd go or how I'd get there. I felt trapped. It wasn't just work, I felt overwhelmed in general."
