First Passengers trailer released - watch Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence find romance in space

Two of the biggest goofballs in Hollywood – yes, we’re talking about Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence – have united to create a movie about two travellers who find themselves unexpectedly awake in outer space.

Passengers follows Jim Preston and Aurora, two passengers on a spaceship travelling to a distant colony. After a malfunction, both wake up from hibernation 90 years early… whoops.

Romance soon blossoms between the two, with Jim asking Aurora on a date via robot and heading to a bar staffed by a robotic Michael Sheen.

However, despite the love in the air, all is not well: they are light years from their destination and the ship begins to malfunction.

Passengers will be released in UK cinemas on December 23.
