Fans go into meltdown as Niall Horan solo track is seemingly revealed

First of all Harry Styles took a step into Hollywood with his debut movie role in Dunkirk, and Zayn Malik has made a real name for himself as a solo artist, with his debut solo album hitting the top of the charts globally.

And now it seems that the latest One Direction star to give this whole solo career thing a go is Niall Horan, who is reportedly set to drop a new single pretty sharpish.

Twitter was awash with over-excited 1D fans as a now-deleted post made by the Radio Disney account said they would be playing Niall’s supposed new single called This Town.

Some have suspected that it was a scheduled tweet that was set live too early by mistake and the track has yet to be unveiled.

Luckily for everyone on Twitter, the social media post was screengrabbed by several quick-fingered fans, who then shared it and got the excitement building.

Some fans also claimed Niall, 23, is now listed as an artist on Apple Music and Spotify.

Niall, who reportedly recently signed a record contract with Capitol Records, has yet to comment or confirm the news of a track coming soon, but the tweet has sent his fans into meltdown.

One Direction – Niall, Harry, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne (Zayn left the band last year) – are currently on hiatus, and each are focusing on their own projects for now.
