Electric Picnic reveals Comedy Stage line up

The Electric Picnic arts and music festival has today announced the lineup for its comedy stage.

Ardal O'Hanlon, Mario Rosenstock ('Gift Grub'), Jim Eoin, Ed Byrne, Reginald D Hunter, The Stars of 'Who's Line is it Anyway', Colin Murphy, The Rubberbandits and Dead Cat Bounce are among the names set to appear in Stradbally, Co Laois.

‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ team captain Phil Jupitus is also set to perform for two different shows on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

The best of homegrown comedic talent will also be on show in the form of as Joe Rooney, Karl Spain, Eleanor Tiernan, Dermot Whelan, Brendan Burke and newcomers like Danny Dowling and Gerry McBride, all held together by your MCs for the weekend, Andrew Stanley and Damian Clarke.

Weekend and family camping tickets are still available for €240 per adult from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.

The Electric Picnic festival will take place on September 3-5 in Stradbally Hall, Stradbally, Co Laois.
