Dublin’s favourite actors have been revealed

ODEON cinema have named Dublin’s favourite Irish actors and actresses today, after polling over 1,000 Dubliners.

Of course, Brendan Gleeson has landed the top spot, with Colin Farrell following closely behind at number two.

Coming in at number 5, the highest ranking actress on the list is Brenda Fricker, who is best known for her role in Home Alone 2 and My Left Foot.

Ireland's sweetheart Amy Huberman was ranked at number six, above Maureen O’Hara and Fionnula Flanagan.

Other actors on the list include Brendan Gleeson's son Domhnall, Aidan Gillen and Colm Meaney.
