Downey Jnr wants Martin for Holmes film

Robert Downey, Jnr is hoping pal and 'Iron Man' co-star Gwyneth Paltrow's husband, Chris Martin, will boost the soundtrack of his new 'Sherlock Holmes' film - because the rocker's a huge fan of the super sleuth.

The actor has revealed the Coldplay star has been offering him tips about playing Holmes on the big screen - and now he hopes Martin will add music to Guy Ritchie's much-anticipated movie.

He said: "We are hoping Chris Martin of Coldplay will contribute to our score.

"He’s a huge Sherlock Holmes fan. He told me you need to be really skinny, which is always the last thing you want to hear."
