‘Dear Ireland’, Russell Crowe has a message for us

Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling star in the new movie The Nice Guys, set in LA during the '70s.

The blockbuster follows private detective Holland March (Gosling) and hired enforcer Jackson Healy (Crowe) as they work together in search of a missing girl who is also linked to the death of porn star Misty Mountain.

The flick has received rave reviews and some lucky Irish people have a chance to attend previews across Ireland tonight.

And if you’re one of them, Russell Crowe has a message for you.

Taking to Twitter the Kiwi asked Ireland to “laugh your tits off” before changing his mind in a series of strange tweets.

He also retweeted Irish fan Katherine, calling her a “good man (woman) yourself”.

Now, we all love you Russell and in turn we know you are a big fan of Ireland, but we don’t think you’ve the lingo down just yet.

The Nice Guys hits cinemas nationwide on June 3.
