Damon mulls new instalment in 'Bourne' franchise

Matt Damon says he is “proceeding carefully” with ideas for a new Bourne film.

The Hollywood star, 39, is talking over possibilities for a fourth instalment with Paul Greengrass, who directed him in the last two Bourne movies.

But he told TV Times: “We both love the Bourne character but we want to get it right. The only thing worse than not making another one would be to make a bad one, so we have to proceed carefully.”

The 'Good Will Hunting' star said he still felt particularly grateful for the Bourne trilogy.

“It’s incalculable how much this character and these movies have helped my career,” said the star.
