Daly promises changes to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’

Tess Daly promised the new series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ will feature “lots of sex”.

The 41-year-old presenter cannot wait for the next season of the celebrity dancing contest to begin and thinks the changes made by producers will make it better than ever.

She said: “There are lots of changes. We’re definitely going sexier – the costumes, the routines, the music, the couples, the celebrities. There’s going to be a lot of sex.”

Among the changes planned for the programme is the departure of veteran host Bruce Forsyth from the Sunday results show.

Though Daly will be sad to see his role reduced to part-time, she is looking forward to working with his replacement, Claudia Winkleman.

She added: “I would never wish Brucie out of a job, that would be horrible disloyal. He’ll be there in spirit, making sure I’m doing him justice.

“I love Claudia. She’s wet-your-knickers funny, but a sweetie off it. We’re always swapping style tips and being really girlie off set. If I could pick a co-host, it would be her.”

Taking part in this year’s series are celebrities including Ann Widdecombe, Goldie, Paul Daniels and Pamela Stephenson.
