Coyle: I'm not delaying band reunion

Nadine Coyle denies claims she is delaying a Girls Aloud reunion.

The Irish singer, who is currently recording her debut solo album, hit back at claims made by fellow band member Kimberley Walsh she was stopping the girl group getting back together to record the follow up to 2008 album ‘Out of Control’.

She wrote on Twitter: “Laughing at people suggesting i'm holding up GA. Really?? Let's be realistic. Open your eyes. It's made out like I have all the power.”

Last week, 28-year-old Walsh admitted Coyle – who lives in Los Angeles, where she owns several businesses - needed to sort out her schedule.

She said: “I miss the girls. The plan is… well, basically Nadine needs to come over from Los Angeles.

“We need to chat and book it in because there are five people’s diaries to work around, rather than just one.”

Girls Aloud – also comprising Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts - still have three more albums to release as part of their contract with Fascination Records.
