Courteney Cox rallies to defence of Jennifer Aniston over Brad Pitt drama

Courteney Cox says her friend Jennifer Aniston should be left out of talk about Brad Pitt’s divorce.

Speculation about how Jen must be feeling has been rife since Brad and Angelina Jolie announced the end of their marriage.

But Courteney told Entertainment Tonight: “I feel like we’re exacerbating it by even talking about it.

“It’s not about her.”

Her comments come after Jen’s husband said it was “nonsense” that she should be included in reports about the divorce.

Justin Theroux, who married Jennifer last year, told Business Insider: “It’s shocking how much bandwidth things can take up when there are far more important things going on in the world.”

Angelina, 41, filed for divorce from Brad, 52, last week, citing irreconcilable differences. She has asked for physical custody of the couple’s six children – Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

The FBI has said it is considering an investigation into an alleged altercation between Brad and one of his children on a private plane. Several media outlets, using anonymous sources, reported that the Ocean’s Eleven star was under investigation by a child welfare agency after allegedly clashing with his adopted son Maddox.

Angelina and Brad first met when they played married spies in the 2005 film Mr And Mrs Smith, when he was still married to Friends star Jennifer.
