Coronation Street's Sally and Kevin Webster are to tie the knot for a third time.
The tumultuous couple – played by Sally Dynevor and Michael Le Vell – will reconcile after the cheating mechanic provides comfort to Sally when she struggles to cope with the stress of being a suspect for the vicious murder of her evil boyfriend Frank Foster (Andrew Lancel).
An insider at the ITV1 soap told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "After all the violence there is a happy outcome on the horizon. Kevin and Sally realise they are meant for one another.
"There will be some tearjerking scenes as Sally slowly begins to realise Kevin thinks the world of her. It won’t be long before she looks on Kevin as her rock which will delight people who want them to become an item again."
However, the next few months look set to see more problems in the Webster family when Sally and Kevin's youngest daughter, teen lesbian Sophie – played by Brooke Vincent – becomes addicted to crack after returning character Ryan Connor (Ben Thompson) introduces her to the Class A drug.
A source recently said: "Ryan returns after spending two years in Glasgow, where he has picked up some alarming traits which he quickly passes on to Sophie.
"He comes back as a very dark character indeed and is set to have a damaging impact on several of the soap's younger characters."
