A show insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Tracy's got form for murder so she has to be the prime suspect when Tina turns up dead.

"Tina is not exactly a pushover but is she really a match for Tracy? History suggests not."

Tracy – who got out of prison on a technicality after murdering Charlie – is so disgusted by Rob's behaviour she leaves him to run their pawn shop on his own.

The brunette beauty's mother Deirdre Barlow (Anne Kirkbride) asks her: "You not going to work today?

"You've given up on the shop as well as on Rob."

But Tracy hits back: "No I haven't. That shop is half mine. He can just run it by himself for a while - see how he likes it.

"Rob's to blame for all of this, and her, Tina, the neighbourhood tart.

"He's only sorry he got caught out."
