'Colony' an excellent film about declining bee population

Directors: Carter Gunn/Ross McDonnell

A timely, award-winning Irish documentary about the alarming decline in the bee world.

Bees, as we have so often been reminded, are vital to the future of mankind: we need the busy bees and for some reason they’re having a hard time.

This excellent film follows a family of Stateside bee-keepers who face financial ruin as disease grips the hives … a dire warning with a sting in the tail.

Star Rating: 4/5
