Cole 'to guest' on Rihanna's fashion show

Cheryl Cole will attend Cannes Film Festival 2012, and is rumoured to be a guest on Rihanna's new fashion show.

The singer and former 'X Factor' panelist has been confirmed for the event taking place from May 16-17.

Last year the 28-year-old star who makes a cameo appearance in 'What To Expect When You're Expecting' turned heads at the event in a plunging neckline Stephane Rolland gown.

Meanwhile Cheryl is also rumoured to be a guest on Rihanna's new fashion show, MarkMeets reports.

The 'What's My Name' performer will produce and appear in the unnamed show on Britain’s Sky Living, the winner of which will create an outfit for her headline appearance at this summer's Wireless Festival in London.

Rihanna said of the show: "I've always had a great love of fashion. It's a constant source of inspiration in my life, and is a big reason why I've grown into the person and artist I am today."

Cheryl's Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts - who has asserted herself as a front row favourite thanks to her fashion-forward style and own range of make-up - has been handpicked to front the series.

She said: "I was so flattered when Rihanna asked me to work with her on this show.

"I'm so excited for us to get started on finding a new up and coming British designer who just needs a chance, a little bit of help in getting their skills noticed."
