Wayne Sleep and Ashley James look as if they have been on a sunny break after being slathered in fake tan for a Celebrity Big Brother task.

The housemates are taking part in a task which sees them set different challenges.

A clip shared ahead of Sunday night’s programme shows Sleep and James looking stunned as they are told they are going under the tanning spray for “not one, not two, but 10 layers of lovely golden glow”.

Both strip down to their underwear for the treatment and they twirl and pose as they start to bronze.

Asked how they feel about their new look, both insist they feel “fabulous”.

Sleep joked that he was like “a bronze statue that needs chipping in certain places”.

The episode also sees Ann Widdecombe, Shane Lynch and Amanda Barrie showing off their moves in a silent disco challenge.

Celebrity Big Brother airs at 9pm on Channel 5.
