Carolan yet to decide on Love/Hate return

Fans of Love/Hate will have to wait to find out if the show will come back for another season.

The programme had an explosive finale last night on RTÉ, leaving viewers guessing who is dead and who could have survived.

Head of drama at RTÉ, Jane Gogan, said the sixth series has been put into development as is normal procedure with any programme.

However, she says no decision will be taken until creator Stuart Carolan gives the go-ahead.

She said: "We will put the next series into development, and that's what we have done, and I think now Stuart really needs to take some time to reflect and decide what he wants to do next.

"We will be supportive of whatever he wants to do."
