Carol Vorderman to be the debut guest on The Grand Tour

Jungle star Carol Vorderman will be the first guest on The Grand Tour.

According to The Sun, the former Countdown star was asked by her old friend Jeremy Clarkson to film scenes at the end of September.

The newspaper says that Carol – currently on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! – will appear in the first episode of the series.

The footage will be released on Friday when the show’s debut episode comes out on Amazon Prime.

The newspaper quoted a source as saying: “It’s a great coup as the episode will be airing just as she is getting stuck in to all the bugs in the jungle. Carol knows the boys from way back. She had a ball.”

Matt Damon and Charlize Theron are also being lined up for the hotly anticipated show.
