“Top of our list would be a member of the clergy so, if anyone has an aunt who happens to be a nun who loves her telly or knows a perfect priest, we would love to hear from them!” said series producer of ‘Gogglebox Ireland’ for Kite Entertainment, Simon Proctor.

But don’t worry he also mentioned that, “Family, Friends and partners will also be considered too”.

“Two, three or four people who are already connected, so long as you are opinionated, funny, likeable, smart and have lots to say about what's on the box.”

Those who think they have what it takes, or who know someone who fits the bill, can get in touch with the production team at casting@kiteentertainment.com.

The programme airs every Thursday at 9.30pm on TV3.
